Joel R Hlavaty, JR, MD

Dr. Hlavaty completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame. After college, he attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and went on to general surgery residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. Afterwards, he completed his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University, where he trained in complex open vascular repairs and advanced endovascular therapies. Dr. Hlavaty is passionate about treating a wide variety of vascular issues including carotid artery disease, limb salvage, aortic aneurysms, dialysis access, and venous disease.

Dr. Hlavaty is looking forward to meeting and working with you and your family. We welcome Dr. Hlavaty, his wife and two children to Santa Barbara Vascular Services.
