Alex Friedman, DO

Alex Friedman, DO, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, offering care for a wide range of orthopedic injuries and conditions, including minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder and knee, and shoulder replacements. With a patient-first mindset, Dr. Friedman takes an educational approach to treatment, teaching patients about their condition and the available treatment options so they are empowered to make the best health care decisions.

Dr. Friedman is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. He serves as a manuscript reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine.

Away from work, Dr. Friedman enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, skiing, hiking and golf.
