Alex M. Stewart, DPM

I attended medical school at Midwestern University where he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM).  I then completed a rigorous surgical residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center, in the department of Orthopedics where he received extensive training in Sports Medicine, Trauma Surgery, and a full array of more common foot and ankle ailments.  I also have assisted with research which has been published in  The Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and the Surgery Journal.On a personal note, I played collegiate baseball and love to play golf and enjoy staying active playing softball, doing cross fit, and running.  My passion for athletics helps relate to injured athletes of all ages and support them in their recovery every step of the way.  In the past I have had the privilege to give back to the community help as a  medical volunteer for events such as the PGA Tour's Texas Valero Open, Phoenix Rock-N-Roll Marathon, and Arizona Ironman.
