Alexandra Schmidek, MD

Alexandra Schmidek, MD, has expertise in plastic and reconstructive surgery, with special medical interest in skin cancer treatment and reconstruction (including melanoma treatment and Mohs reconstruction); abdominoplasty (tummy tuck); breast reconstruction; and complex hernia repair. She also performs breast reductions and gynecomastia corrective surgery.

Communicating with patients and listening is one of the most important things that she does. She works very hard to understand what each patient wants and to ensure that their expectations are in line with what can be achieved. She also works hard to earn their trust, which is essential. Because the work that she does is often very visible, she strives to achieve good outcomes that both she and her patient love.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Schmidek enjoys reading, equestrian sports and outdoor activities.
