Amit Kainth, MD, FACS, RPVI

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Amit Kainth, MD, brings his kind and caring demeanor down to Washington. Double board certified by the American Board of Surgery,  Dr. Kainth has particular interest in open and endovascular surgery for cardiovascular disease, thoracic and abdominal aortic disease, and peripheral vascular disease. Dr. Kainth is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and has published peer-reviewed articles on aortic reinterventions, traumatic aortic injuries and popliteal aneurysm repair. He sees patients age 16 and older.

Dr. Kainth has achieved Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) Initiate Status. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, and Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Society.
