Andrew K. Nguyen, MD

Dr. Nguyen  received his Bachelor from the University of California, Irvine and then graduated from the University of Health Science/The Chicago Medical School.  His internship and surgical residency in Urology was completed at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Dr Nguyen continued his training at the University of California, Davis with a  fellowship in Neuro-urology, Urodynamics and Urologic Reconstructions.Before joining Dr Shenassa, he was with Kaiser Permanente, Woodland Hills as a staff urologist where he was named surgeon of the year and in private practice in Orange County.Dr Nguyen provides general urologic care dealing with a variety of urological problems including prostate/bladder problems, kidney stones, and incontinence.  His interests is in female urology, endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery.

My philosophy and style of practice revolve  around helping my patients come to an informed decision. I believe in open communication, building relationships and fostering a sense of trust. I hope to reassure my patients, put them at ease and give them great results. It's an honor and privilege to have a job that allows me to help people.
