Andrew Stuart Dennish, MD, FACC

Dr. Andrew Dennish grew up in San Diego as the son of a cardiologist. He attended college at UCLA, where he received his B.S. in marine biology in 1996. He then attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, receiving his M.D. in 2001. He trained in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, from 2001 through 2007. Dr. Dennish is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology. He is the Chief of Staff at Templeton’s Twin Cities Community Hospital. His professional interests include preventive cardiology, non-invasive cardiac imaging and the management of chronic cardiac conditions such as coronary disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. During his training, he participated in designing and supporting hospital-based programs for the rapid triage and assessment of chest pain, as well as a statewide network to rapidly treat heart attack victims. In his spare time, Dr. Dennish enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and following sports. Dr. Dennish work in both our Templeton and SLO Diagnostic offices.
