AJ Flaherty, MD

AJ Flaherty, MD, is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon with special interest in gender-affirming facial surgery. Dr. Flaherty enjoys restoring facial form and function through the marriage of surgical skill with artistry. With a commitment to making every patient feel heard, comfortable and well-cared for, they take time to listen to concerns, answer questions and thoroughly explain treatment options. Dr. Flaherty is detail-oriented and devoted to providing the highest standard of patient care. Through compassion, empathy and realistic communication, Dr. Flaherty will collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan in which you feel confident.

As a queer, non-binary, transgender person, Dr. Flaherty takes great pleasure and pride in being able to offer gender-affirming facial surgery for other gender diverse people.

Dr. Flaherty is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. They also serve as "Team ENT" with the Seattle Seawolves.
