Dr. Anthony Soriano is a board-certified family physician dedicated to helping patients become more proactive with their health and embracing prevention as a lifestyle. Understanding that "an ounce of prevention really is greater than a pound of cure," he champions a patient-centered approach. Dr. Soriano prioritizes developing strong provider-patient relationships, seeing his role as an advocate and partner in optimizing health for the entire family. Caring for infants, children, and teens are major joys of Dr. Soriano's practice as a family physician, a role he has held since 2009, previously with CHI St. Joseph Medical Group in College Station, Texas. He finds immense fulfillment in caring for people across their lifespan, a commitment that reinforces his message to maintain patient health through every age and stage of their lives. From 2021 to 2022, he also served as Chairman of the Credentialing Committee for CHI St. Joseph - Alliance Health Providers of the Brazos Valley. Taking care of people runs in Dr. Soriano’s family. His grandfather, the first of several doctors in the family, left a lasting impression and instilled in him a yearning to assist people with their ailments. As a board-certified family physician, Dr. Soriano enjoys meeting and treating the entire family, from newborn babies to grandparents. He completed his medical residency in Family Medicine at Texas A&M Family Medicine in Bryan, Texas, from 2006 to 2009, following earlier medical training in the Philippines, including an internship and residency in Anesthesiology at Cardinal Santos Medical Center. Dr. Soriano was born in California and moved to the Philippines as a child. He completed his undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of the Philippines, and his medical degree at De La Salle University - College of Medicine, Philippines, in 1996. Before pursuing medicine, he also briefly served as a High School Science Teacher at Miriam High School in Quezon City, Philippines. He is fluent in English and Filipino (Tagalog).
