Anthony (Tony) J Gerbino, MD

Tony Gerbino, MD, specializes in interstitial lung diseases (including pulmonary fibrosis and sarcoidosis), and pulmonary complications of connective tissue diseases. He also treats chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung cancer.

Dr. Gerbino enjoys developing a relationship of trust with each patient over time and working to make them as well as they can be. He considers it particularly important to explain the rationale for tests and treatments, and to bring world-class expertise to each patient through research and a scholarly approach to care.

Dr. Gerbino has been practicing pulmonary and critical care medicine at Virginia Mason since 2001. He was voted one of Seattle's Top Doctors by Seattle Met magazine in 2010.

Away from work, Dr. Gerbino stays busy with his wife and three children.
