Ara Shafrazian, MD

Dr. Ara Shafrazian M.D. is a Glendale native and product of the community he was raised in, which is what drove him to return and do his part in giving back and helping care for that same community. He completed his undergraduate education in Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Shafrazian then received his Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine, upon graduation he completed his family medicine residency on the east coast at Temple University affiliated St. Francis Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE.Dr. Shafrazian is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, he has trained in multiple facets of patient care from newborns to the geriatric population, his vast exposure to different disciplines of medicine including hospital medicine, sports medicine, and obstetric care has afforded him great experience in caring for patients with an understanding of the complexity of each individual's care.Dr. Shafrazian's philosophy is patient centered care, evidence and guideline driven approach to managing each patients specific needs with respect to their individual goals.  In his free time Dr. Shafrazian has many hobbies including tennis, basketball and spending time with his family.
