Arunima Dutta, MD

Arunima Dutta, MD, is an internal medicine physician who offers primary care for adults, with special emphasis on the management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, COPD, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal diseases. She also has a strong interest in addiction medicine, in particular, nicotine use disorder and alcohol use disorder.

Dr. Dutta believes that each person is unique with a distinct cultural background and values. By acknowledging individual differences and by offering holistic care, she aims to strengthen the physician-patient relationship and thus optimize patient care.

Dr. Dutta is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She is an active clinical researcher and has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American College of Physicians and American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, painting and blogging.
