Asad Pervez, MD

Asad Pervez, MD, provides whole-person digestive care that aims to empower patients through education and is rooted in collaboration. As a board-certified gastroenterologist and obesity medicine specialist, Dr. Pervez combines advanced, evidence-based care with clear communication, compassion and shared decision-making. He approaches each referral with the same level of attention he would want for his own family, and he strives to make the process seamless, respectful and patient-focused from start to finish.

Dr. Pervez received a best faculty of the year award in 2005 from the West Virginia University GI Fellowship program, where he served as medical director of endoscopy from 2023-2025 and medical director of motility from 2022-2025.
