Benjamin Tyler Cole, MD

Dr. Cole treats children and adults of all ages throughout their lifecycle, offering general care for a full range of health concerns ranging from annual physicals and short-term illness to the management of chronic conditions. Born and raised in Ocala, Florida, living in Colorado has been a lifelong dream because he spent much of his youth visiting family in Edwards and Telluride. An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Cole has combined his lifestyle interests with special training in Wilderness Medicine, including a stint with the emergency physicians and ski patrol at the base of Keystone. He looks forward to expanding his expertise in caring for people in extreme conditions or emergency settings. Like other CommonSpirit Primary Care Powers providers, Dr. Cole has provided medical care to underserved populations in remote locations, including Uganda and Ecuador. Dr. Cole likes to develop long-term, cooperative relationships with patients which gives him the opportunity to see people grow, change and move through life’s milestones. “From a general treatment perspective, people will find that I am a motivated partner and health care coach. I have a professional but informal approach to those under my care which creates a relaxed environment to address their individual concerns.” Dr. Cole completed his internship and residency in Saint Vincent Health System in Erie, Penn., having earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Florida. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude.
