Bijal Patel, MD

Bijal Patel, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician providing primary care for newborns, children and adolescents. Dr. Patel believes a healthy life starts with a healthy childhood. Her goal is to help guide families in raising secure, strong and capable children. This starts with preventive care and creating an environment that promotes physical and psychological well-being. Her whole-family approach to medicine allows her to understand the child’s environment and to work along with parents to create a plan of care that encompasses their views and respects their beliefs.

Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Having practiced for six years in a rural setting with limited resources, Dr. Patel has had the opportunity to care for medically complex patients of all pediatric ranges. She is a strong proponent of preventive care, including vaccinations.

Away from work, Dr. Patel enjoys reading, cooking and travel.
