Dr. Bilal Dar is an Interventional Pain Specialist and Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Dar earned his medical degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio after completing his BA at Rice University. He then completed his Residency at Baylor College of Medicine. Further specializing his expertise, he pursued a Fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. This extensive training has equipped him to provide cutting-edge care in pain medicine. Dr. Dar's professional interests and areas of expertise include interventional pain management, the conservative management of spinal disorders, and a variety of procedures such as spinal cord stimulation, joint and bursa injections, and treatment for spinal compression fractures. He is particularly skilled in minimally invasive lumbar decompression, aiming to provide effective relief with less downtime.
