Brenda Peabody, MD

Dr. Brenda K. Peabody, a proud Houstonian and board-certified cardiologist, embodies CommonSpirit Health's commitment to compassionate and inclusive care. She earned her medical degree from Texas A&M University in College Station and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Texas A&M Health Sciences Center, Scott & White. A recognized Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Peabody brings a wealth of expertise to The Woodlands North Houston Heart and Vein Center, where she specializes in all aspects of non-invasive and preventive cardiology.

Since 1995, Dr. Peabody has been dedicated to improving the health of those she serves, joining The Woodlands North Houston Heart and Vein Center in 2002. Her passion lies in fostering a cooperative effort between patients and physicians, believing that good medical care is a shared journey. She is actively involved in community health education, frequently giving interactive lectures and previously serving on the board of the American Heart Association of Northwest Harris County, where she championed the topic of women and heart disease.

Dr. Peabody's commitment extends to leadership within the medical community, currently serving as co-chair for the Department of Cardiology at Memorial Hermann Hospital-The Woodlands. Her hospital affiliations include Houston Northwest Medical Center, Memorial Hermann Hospital-The Woodlands, and St. Luke's Community Medical Center-The Woodlands. Through her dedication, Dr. Peabody consistently makes the healing presence of God known in her world, ensuring quality care and dignity for all.
