Cassandra Ann Horton, NP

Cassandra (Cassy) Horton, NP, is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She began her career in health care by working as a certified nursing assistant in rural Tennessee. Since that time, she has logged over ten years of experience in various areas of patient care, including Certified Nursing Assistant, Telemetry Tech, Emergency Room Tech, Critical Care Nurse, Pediatric Nursing, and Nurse Practitioner. She is qualified to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions across the entire lifespan. In addition to her clinical experience, Cassy also has an outstanding academic background that includes a Bachelor's of Nursing with Magna Cum Laude from Nebraska Methodist College in Omaha, Nebraska and a Master of Science in Nursing from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. Cassy focuses on putting her patients first with a holistic approach that not only considers the physical aspect of her patient's illness, but the emotional and spiritual aspects as well. She is a firm believer that healing and wholeness are matters of body, mind, and spirit. Cassy and her husband, TJ, have a son, Westyn. TJ farms along with raising cattle with his father.
