I chose family medicine because of the relationships that are built between myself and my patients of all ages. I believe that having trust in your physician is of utmost importance and that begins with communication and working together. Being able to care for and bond with my patients is the most satisfying part of what I do. It is enjoyable to care for multiple generations within one family as this allows me to really get to know the people I care for and the dynamics within their community. I have a passion for adolescent medicine as well. The ability to reach a young mind early in life is what I consider true preventative medicine when it comes to avoiding medical problems later in life. Another passion of mine is sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine. Whether it's the weekend warrior or the competitive athlete, I feel comfortable that I can help patients of all ages regain their confidence on the field or court.
