Christopher Williams, APRN

Christopher Williams, FNP, known to his patients and loved ones as "Chris," is a Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to a patient care philosophy rooted in deep human connection. He approaches each individual as he would a family member, valuing their human experience above all else—seeing them as one of God's children. This perspective informs his most rewarding daily practice: truly getting to know his patients and striving to understand the world from their unique viewpoints, fostering trust and openness in every visit.

A Miami native, Chris initially pursued nursing to care for children, later expanding his expertise to encompass adults of all ages and family-oriented primary care. His extensive background spans diverse clinical settings, including facilities for medically fragile children, emergency rooms, urgent care clinics, primary care settings, and even concierge primary care and wound care. This rich experience, which he deeply values, has provided him with a multitude of both clinical skills and personal insights he brings to his practice, allowing for a holistic approach to healing and wellness.

Before making the move to Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 2024, Chris was a respected educator, teaching for several years at the South Florida College of Nursing. There, he played a pivotal role in establishing their accreditation program and mentorship for new nurses. He is a proud alumnus of Barry University (MSN) and Florida International University (BSN), and also completed critical care/emergency department internships at Jackson Memorial Hospital, alongside certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS, CPI, EKG, and pharmacology. He holds licenses as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in both Tennessee and Florida, qualifying him as an autonomous provider.

Outside of his professional life, Chris is a passionate cook, musician, and enjoys learning new languages. Since moving to Chattanooga, he has embraced the mountainous landscape, spending quality time with his children and wife exploring the abundant outdoors of Eastern Tennessee and Northern Georgia. He also dedicates his free time to serving his community through his church, reinforcing his commitment to service beyond the clinic walls.
