Clay Tyson Church, NP

Clay Church, NP, is a nurse practitioner who specializes in Family Medicine at CommonSpirit Primary Care Mercy. His personal approach is patient-focused holistic care that includes compassionate listening and the incorporation of patients' lifestyles and preferences into treatment plans. Patient education on the most up-to-date evidence and research is a core component of his care philosophy. Clay completed his nursing education at the University of New Mexico, graduating in 2012. He worked as a trauma/surgical nurse in both the general ward and ICU from 2012 to 2019. He obtained his Master's Degree in Nursing for Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019 via Westminster College in Salt Lake City and subsequently worked as an NP Hospitalist at San Juan Regional Medical Center from 2019 to 2023. Outside of his practice, Clay enjoys snowboarding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, and working on quirky old cars.
