Clint Cheng, MD

Dr. Clint Cheng is a board-certified family physician with St. Joseph Medical Group, bringing his compassionate approach to the Brazos Valley community. Fluent in English and Vietnamese, and proficient in Spanish, Dr. Cheng’s commitment to service and intellectual challenge led him to a career in medicine. He finds immense joy in fostering strong, lasting relationships with his patients, believing these connections are foundational to effective care.

Dr. Cheng began practicing medicine in 2005 and joined St. Joseph Family Medicine in 2010, drawn by the team's shared dedication to exceptional medical care and unwavering ethical standards. He firmly believes in St. Joseph's patient-centered philosophy, where every decision is made with the individual's best interest at heart. His approach to family medicine allows him to care for entire families, gaining valuable insights that enhance treatment for each member.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Cheng has taken on significant leadership roles within the St. Joseph Medical Group. Since 2019, he has served as the Chief Medical Officer, and in 2023, he became the Medical Director for the Brazos Valley Value Hub. In these administrative capacities, Dr. Cheng emphasizes collaborative team efforts between clinical and administrative staff to ensure the organization continues to advance its mission effectively.

Inspired by his faith and committed to serving the common good, Dr. Cheng is actively involved with Grace Bible Church. When not working, he cherishes time with his wife and two young sons, enjoying the performing arts and supporting mission trips. His personal life reflects his professional dedication to fostering connections, building trust, and contributing to a healthier and more compassionate community
