Care philosophy: My approach to care is recognizing that at the core, we are all human and we all deserve empathy and understanding for each other. Being a patient can be intimidating and overwhelming, and I wish to show to all my patients that they are heard and valued as not only an integral member of the team, but as a person. I will always embrace and encourage my patients to share their perspectives when it comes to their care to provide an experience that is above and beyond the typical healthcare encounter. Why I became a medical provider: I have always been interested in medicine, but following a life-changing diagnosis in my teens where I spent a good portion of two and a half years in the hospital, I knew that my purpose was in this field. Being able to be there for someone during one of their darkest moments in life is something that I hold very dear to my heart and continues to motivate me to provide the best care for those I treat.
