Dana Campbell, PA-C

Dana Campbell, MSPAS, Ph.D, PA-C is a certified physician assistant who specializes in cardiology, seeing patients ages 18 and up at Saint Joseph Medical Group – Cardiology. She has been practicing medicine since 2010, and her areas of interest are cardiology, wound care and vascular medicine, including arterial and venous disease. Campbell describes her approach to patient care as “compassion with equitable standard of care.” She was inspired to become a caregiver by her interest in increasing the quality of life for others. “My favorite part of my job is seeing patients smile,” she said. Campbell completed an active duty enlistment in the United States Navy, then earned bachelor’s degrees in both pre-medicine biology and chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University. She holds a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from University of Kentucky and a doctorate in leadership from University of the Cumberlands. Her interests outside of work include advocacy, travel, sailing, boat repair and French bulldogs.
