Dr. Daniel Stone, MD is a Urogynecologist, who specializes in the treatment of Pelvic Floor Disorders serving patients in Phoenix, Scottsdale and the surrounding area. He is part of the largest group of Urogynecologist in Arizona, Valley Urogynecology Associates.He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center here in Phoenix, AZ. He completed his fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, where he trained with many of the leading experts in the management of pelvic floor disorders and has since devoted his entire practice to the management of these disorders such as pelvic organ prolapse (vaginal prolapse, uterine prolapse, vaginal vault prolapse, bladder prolapse, cystocele, and rectocele), stress incontinence, urge urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, fecal incontinence, mesh complications, and pelvic fistulas. His extensive specialized training allows him to excel in the conservative and surgical treatment of pelvic floor disorders, including procedures and minimally invasive surgeries such as hysterectomy (laparoscopic, vaginal, and Robotic da Vinci), hysteropexy, sacrocolpopexy, vaginal vault suspension, cystocele repair, rectocele repair, perineorrhaphy, mid-urethral sling, pubovaginal sling, Burch procedure, Bladder botox, sacral nerve stimulation (Axonics and Interstim), Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS), Rectovaginal fistula repair, Vesicovaginal fistula repair, urethral bulking (macroplastique), and pelvic mesh removal.He is actively involved in resident physician education and is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Arizona School of Medicine as well as Creighton University.
