David Jason Bailey, MD, FACS

David Bailey, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with extensive experience in robotic surgery for gastric reflux, inguinal and complex ventral hernias, colorectal resection, adrenalectomy and acute care general surgery. He also offers bariatric surgery, including robotic gastric bypass and robotic vertical sleeve gastrectomy.

Energetic and encouraging, Dr. Bailey promotes self-responsibility and strives to provide patients with the tools for long-term success. He takes pride in providing patients with the most advanced surgical care, both general and bariatric. 

Dr. Bailey is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). He has taught and practiced robotic surgery throughout the world through his service as Chief of Surgery and Director of Bariatric Surgery in the United States Air Force, and as a robotic surgery proctor.

Away from work, Dr. Bailey enjoys health and fitness, running, golf, hiking and family time.
