I'm from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. I enjoy caring for patients of all ages and have worked in a variety of settings, from public health clinics to a health tech start-up. I have a special interest in preventing and managing cardiometabolic conditions like heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and obesity, among others - often called "longevity" medicine today. My approach focuses on personalized risk assessment and collaborative decision-making to ensure that care plans align with each patient's personal values and goals. Of course, when illness does occur, I'm dedicated to providing exceptional care and support. How I stay healthy and happy: Soccer, biking, free weights, escaping into nature, music, gardening, house plants, epic fantasy novels, playtime with the kids and outings with family and friends.
