David Weingarten, MD, FAANS

David Weingarten, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with subspecialty training in neurosurgical oncology. Some conditions he treats include brain and spine trauma, brain and spine tumors, trigeminal neuralgia, spinal cord/nerve root compression (sciatica), and hydrocephalus.

Dr. Weingarten enjoys working with people, and does his best to communicate the complexities of neurosurgery with words and concepts that are easy to understand. He believes it is paramount that his patients and their families have a good understanding of their condition and treatment options so they can make informed decisions that best meet their needs.

Dr. Weingarten is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS).

Away from work, Dr. Weingarten enjoys travel, sailing, bicycling, hiking and SCUBA diving.
