Ethymios Gkotsoulias is Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Board Certified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. He received his doctorate of podiatric medicine from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated with honors and was nominated the proficiency in podiatric surgery award. He completed a 3 year surgical residency at Gundersen Medical Foundation in La Crosse, Wisconsin serving as a cochief resident where he was credentialed in podiatric medicine and surgery with added credential in reconstructive reafoot and ankle surgery. He also obtained additional training in trauma and plastics of the foot and ankle. After completing residency, he began practicing in the Woodlands in 2015. His main focus is:

Reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle
Revision surgery
Total joint replacement of the ankle and arthroscopy
