Ferenc Markos, MD

Dr. Ferenc Markos grew up in southwest Houston and completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry at Houston Baptist University. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed his residency in OBGYN care at the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas, Parkland Hospital. Dr. Markos brings over 20 years of medical expertise to St. Luke's Texas OBGYN Specialists. As member and former President of the Montgomery County Medical Society, Dr. Markos actively participates in the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Markos is the former Chief of Staff and Chief of OBGYN at Conroe Regional Hospital. While his main practice is located at the St. Luke’s The Woodland’s Hospital campus, Dr. Markos also treats patients at the Montgomery clinic located in Montgomery, Texas. Dr. Markos’ hobbies include spending time with his family, enjoying the arts and theatrical performances as well as outdoor activities such as camping and boating. He is fluent in five languages and enjoys travelling.
