Dual board-certified in family medicine and sports medicine, Frank Taddeo, MD, a physician since 2020, sees patients of all ages at Saint Joseph Medical Group – Orthopedics. His areas of interest include diagnostic ultrasound evaluation, ultrasound guided injections, minimally invasive carpal tunnel and trigger finger release, minimally invasive treatment for partial tendon and ligament tears, osteoarthritis care, platelet rich plasma injections and three-month nerve blocks.
Dr. Taddeo’s approach to care involves focusing attention on the specific needs of each patient. He has always had a passion for anatomy and the mechanism of injuries. “As a lifelong athlete and weightlifter, I can relate my training and experience to patients of all levels of fitness, from beginner to advanced,” he said.
He chose his specialty to help bridge the gap between injury and surgery, explaining, “My passion is in minimally invasive ultrasound-guided procedures to help patient avoid surgery when possible.”
Dr. Taddeo received an undergraduate degree in exercise science from Florida State University and earned his medical degree from University of Medicine and Health Sciences on St. Kitts. He did a family practice residency at Piedmont Columbia Regional in Columbus, Georgia, and a sports medicine fellowship at University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
His hobbies include hunting, fishing, scuba diving, woodworking and home DIY projects.
