Gabriel Garcia-Diaz, MD

Dr. Gabriel Garcia-Diaz has 7 years of experience in the field of spinal surgery. He completed his medical studies at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. He also completed an Orthopaedic Residency program in the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus. He received his Spine surgery fellowship training at the San Francisco Spine Institute, San Francisco. Dr. Garcia-Diaz is bilingual in Spanish and English.Dr. Garcia-Diaz is an affiliate member of the North American Spine Society, American Association of Orthopaedics Surgeons, American Medical Association, Western Association of Orthopaedics Surgeons and the Merced Mariposa Medical Society. He is an active athlete, and in his spare time he enjoys doing sports like, tennis, basketball and swimming. Dr. Garcia-Diaz, his wife, Suhail, and their kids, Andres, Gabriela and Lia have been a part of the Merced community since 2012.
