Gareth Adams, MD

Dr. Adams is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with specialized expertise in disorders of the spine. He practices at BSLMG MAC I - Neurosurgery, where he focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and cerebrovascular system. His areas of focus include general cranial and spinal neurosurgery, as well as minimally-invasive, complex, revision, and reconstructive spinal surgery, and brain and spine trauma.

Dr. Adams earned both his PhD and medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He then completed his neurosurgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine before pursuing a combined neurosurgery and orthopedic spine fellowship at the University of Washington. His rigorous training allows him to bring comprehensive and advanced care to his patients.

Following his fellowship, Dr. Adams honed his skills in Washington for five years before returning to his Texas roots. He is known for his compassionate approach, priding himself on engaging comprehensively with each patient.
