Georg Wiese, MD, FACS

Georg Wiese, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon who strives for excellence in patient care. Dr. Wiese takes a whole-person approach, meeting patients where they are and tailoring care to their individual needs. Using evidence-based medicine, he aims to teach patients about their disease and why surgery may be a crucial part of their recovery. More than just a patient’s surgeon, he becomes an active partner in their medical journey.

Dr. Wiese has been the recipient of the Press Ganey World Class Performance in Patient Experience, AHMG 95% Plus award from 2022-2024. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).

Away from work, Dr. Wiese enjoys hiking, skiing, kayaking and fishing.
