George Coba, MD

Dr. George Coba is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive urologic care to his patients and community. A native of Miami, Florida, he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics from Pennsylvania State University before receiving his medical degree from the University of South Florida. He then completed his urologic surgery residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch.

Dr. Coba manages a broad range of general urologic conditions, with a specific interest in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and voiding dysfunction, genitourinary oncology, and complex kidney stone disease. He employs the da Vinci Surgical System for robotic-assisted laparoscopic procedures, enabling patients to benefit from greater surgical precision, reduced discomfort, and faster recovery times. For patients with symptomatic enlarged prostates, he also offers HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate), a minimally invasive technique known for its durable, long-term outcomes.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Coba is proud to serve the diverse communities of the Central Coast. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and spending time with his wife and their cat.
