George Mekhail Wahba, MD

Dr. Wahba obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and graduated Summa Cum Laude with College Honors. He then graduated at the top of his class from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine, which is consistently ranked as one of the top medical schools in the country.After medical school, he completed a five-year residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) before completing a prestigious fellowship in spine surgery at Harvard Medical School. During that time, he trained at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, two of the most renowned medical centers in the world.Dr. Wahba specializes in treating a wide variety of spine conditions, including degenerative spine disease, spinal deformities, and spinal trauma. 

Dr. Wahba is a Harvard-trained surgeon who specializes in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery. He has expertise in spinal degenerative disease, spinal deformity/scoliosis, spinal trauma, spinal tumors, and revision surgeries, as well as the use of minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Wahba takes a very conservative approach to spine surgery, and believes surgery should only be considered once all conservative options are exhausted.
