Greg Takenishi, MD

Dr. Takenishi has over 12 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, specializing in Sports Medicine involving the knee, shoulder and elbow as well complex shoulder reconstruction. He takes initiative in his field, pushing the boundaries of arthroscopic and open surgery. Dr. Takenishi treats athletes from high school, college, and in professional sports. He has actively participated as team physician for the San Francisco Giants, Sacramento Kings G league affiliate, University of Pacific, amongst many other colleges in the bay area and central valley. He looks forward to contributing to the community by establishing a collaborative practice in the Sacramento region.
