Dr. Tarlian is the co-owner of Western Vascular Institute and has over twenty-five years of experience in complex open vascular & endovascular surgery techniques. Dr. Tarlian is fellowship trained and Board Certified by the American Board of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Tarlian has dedicated his life to providing excellent patient care along with performing the least invasive yet most innovative &effective procedures used in vascular surgery today. Dr. Tarlian also has certification in non-invasive vascular duplex/ultrasound. Dr. Tarlian completed his vascular fellowship at the Arizona Heart Institute under the tutelage of the world-recognized surgeon, Dr. Edward B. Diethrich., where for several years Dr. Tarlian served as the clinical instructor for continuing medical education. He has also served as the Chief of Surgery at AKDHC for five years, where he was at the forefront of treatment and intervention for end-stage renal disease and fistula creation.Dr. Tarlian has had multiple publications in many major peer-reviewed journals. He is the Director of the educational program for Western Vascular Institute's Vein Center at which he trains surgeons throughout the world in the aggressive treatment of venous diseases. He is also the Co-founder of the Western Vascular Institute's vascular catheterization lab.
