Howard Kussman, MD

Dr. Kussman is a board-certified infectious diseases physician with over 30 years of experience, providing compassionate care to all patient populations, including those who are immunocompromised. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious illnesses with a strong emphasis on prevention, ensuring his patients receive comprehensive and quality care.

Dr. Kussman embarked on his medical journey in South Africa, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of the Witwatersrand Medical School. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut and further specialized with a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Kussman is board-certified in both Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. His patient care philosophy centers on a deep understanding of each patient's symptoms to accurately diagnose and guide them through their recovery. He believes that making the correct diagnosis is crucial to helping patients understand and ultimately overcome their illnesses.
