Dr. DeRoock joined Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers in 2009 after completing residency in Internal Medicine followed by fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of California at Davis. He is a first-generation Panamanian-American fluent in both English and Spanish. He previously earned his medical degree at the University of Arizona. Dr. DeRoock is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He has been active in developing clinical trials for pancreatic cancer and lymphoma, and has presented his research findings at the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting as well as the Annual Pan-Pacific Lymphoma Conference. He specializes in all adult cancers and hematologic disorders.
