James Joseph Reid, MD

Dr. James Reid, M.D., is a leading Orthopedic Surgeon and Foot and Ankle Surgeon, providing skilled, compassionate care for patients of all ages throughout the Pasadena, CA, and Los Angeles area. At Huntington Orthopedics, Dr. Reid provides patients with an array of advanced care options for musculoskeletal disease and injuries including ankle pain, shoulder dislocation, tennis elbow, osteoporosis, cartilage damage, simple and complex fractures, and knee injuries including ACL injuries and meniscal tears. In addition, as a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Reid has extensive experience in both traditional and minimally-invasive approaches to care, including open and arthroscopic surgery techniques for joint replacement, cartilage transplants, meniscal transplants and other repairs as well as innovative PRP therapy to promote faster and more complete healing following disease, injury or surgery.Dr. Reid earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Southern California - LAC USC Medical Center and a fellowship in foot and ankle orthopedics at Baylor University Medical Center. In addition, he has advanced education and training in the assessment and treatment of sports injuries in adult and pediatric patients.
