James Kemp, PA-C

James Kemp, PA-C has been a caregiver since 2015. As a certified physician assistant, he sees patients 18 and older at Saint Joseph Medical Group – Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine. His areas of interest include shock, respiratory failure and acidosis.

His care approach puts patients first, and Kemp demonstrates humankindness by connecting with patients and their families. He has been inspired to work in health care since childhood, and chose his specialty because of its difficulty.

Kemp was named Advanced Practice Provider of the Year in 2022, for both Saint Joseph Hospital and the health system overall. His hobbies include flying airplanes and golf.
