I am native to Southern California and have lived here most of my life. I value this community and chose medicine as a way to benefit those most who live here. I first began my career through volunteer work at Los Angeles County Hospital, and then undertook formal training to become a doctor of osteopathic medicine. I then advanced through surgical training, which I chose due to the direct effect I could personally have on my patient's lives through my procedures. I find gratification every day in my chosen profession, knowing that I am serving those with complex medical and surgical problems.
Modern Healthcare is a team approach. The field of Vascular Surgery is no exception. I treat complex disease processes that mandate that I partner with the patient, the patient's family and the patient's other health care providers to effectively manage the problem at hand. The patient must be listened to. Only through education and team work can we combat the effects of vascular disease together.
