I think it is very important to listen to patients and understand their concerns and answer all of their questions. My treatment recommendations are evidence-based, follow national and international practice guidelines and are tailored to each patient's needs. I have a strong emphasis on preventive medicine and draw from any and all branches of health care. While pharmacological therapy is sometimes the best choice, I always prefer to treat without medications when there are safe, effective and proven alternatives.
