Jean-Christophe A Leveque, MD

Jean-Christophe Leveque, MD, is a neurosurgeon who specializes in complex spinal surgery, pituitary tumors, peripheral nerve surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery. He currently serves as the Head of Neurosurgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center, and has served in the past on numerous regional and national committees focusing on the treatment of patients with primarily spine-related neurological disorders. He has an extensive publication history and has active research interests in the treatment of lumbar spine disorders, understanding risk as it relates to surgical decision-making, and developing newer minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Away from work, Dr. Leveque enjoys cycling, skiing, sailing, live music and playing the banjo.
