Jessica Brown, MD

Dr. Brown is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiologist specializing in valvular heart disease and heart failure at The Woodlands North Houston Heart Center. She is also board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. Her compassionate approach to care is rooted in a deep commitment to treating the whole person, and she views her work as a privilege, reflecting CommonSpirit Health's mission to make the healing presence of God known through quality care.

Dr. Brown began practicing medicine after graduating from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, followed by a General Cardiology Fellowship and an Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology Fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute and Houston Methodist, respectively. At Texas Heart Institute, she was recognized with several research awards and named Most Outstanding Cardiology Fellow, also serving as Chief Cardiology Fellow, demonstrating her dedication to excellence. She joined The Woodlands North Houston Heart Center in August 2016.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Brown is deeply engaged in advancing the field of cardiology, with a particular interest in research to improve outcomes for patients with valvular heart disease and heart failure. Her work is guided by the CommonSpirit values of Compassion and Excellence, always striving to deliver the highest quality, most humane care, and contributing to the common good through medical advancement. When not caring for patients or advancing her field, Dr. Brown embraces the outdoors, often found running along the scenic Woodlands trails with her husband, Scott, and son, Hudson.
