Dr. Mustanser M. Badar is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist with expertise in complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventions. He holds double board certification in Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology, and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), as well as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). Dr. Badar trained at leading institutions including the Cleveland Clinic and Mount Sinai, where he completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship. His clinical interests focus on complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventions.
Dr. Badar began practicing medicine in 2013 and has been dedicating himself to cardiovascular health since. He is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that emphasizes early diagnosis, minimally invasive treatment, and long-term cardiovascular health. Dr. Badar believes in empowering patients through clear communication and shared decision-making.
Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Badar is active in several professional organizations, including the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), the American College of Cardiology (ACC), and the Society of Vascular Medicine (SVM). He is also involved in research, with a focus on epicardial complications of EP procedures, pericardiocentesis, pericarditis registry, peripheral vascular disease, and deep vein thrombosis.
Outside of work, Dr. Badar is passionate about spending quality time with his family, exploring creativity through oil painting, and staying active with basketball and scuba diving. He also enjoys learning about technology and artificial intelligence, especially where it intersects with medicine.
