John M Harris, MD

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, John Harris, MD, FACS, has practiced medicine since 1993. His interests include hernia, biliary and GI tract surgery. He sees patients ages 18 and up at Saint joseph Medical Group – Surgery. Dr. Harris has a patient-oriented approach, motivated by a desire to help others. His interest in surgery led to specializing in it. “My favorite part of my job is seeing a happy patient in follow-up with a good outcome,” he said. Dr. Harris received his medical degree from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. He did his internship and residency at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center. His hobbies include water skiing, snow skiing and being outdoors in general.
