John Van Taunay, MD

John Van Taunay, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with special interest in lipid management, cardiomyopathy and early detection of coronary artery disease. Dr. Van Taunay is approachable and believes in open communication. Recognizing that every patient is unique, he individualizes treatment plans to create positive outcomes and trust.

Dr. Van Taunay is a member of the American College of Physicians. He received an outstanding leadership and mentoring award during his fellowship, and most recently worked as a cardiology hospitalist and clinical instructor at the University of Washington.

Outside of work, Dr. Van Taunay enjoys gardening, cooking and hiking with his wife and  two daughters.
