Joseph Hwang, MD

Joseph Hwang, MD, is a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialist with over 25 years of experience. Dr. Hwang provides compassionate, patient-focused care for complex obstetrical patients, with an emphasis on prenatal diagnosis and prevention of preterm birth. He makes a point to listen to his patients and to understand how they wish their care to be directed.

Dr. Hwang serves as a clinical associate professor with the University of Washington School of Medicine's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and member of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine, Central Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Washington State Obstetrical Association.

Dr. Hwang is happily married and the proud father of two daughters and one granddaughter. Away from work, he enjoys golf, biking, hiking, art and classical music.
